Network Pr Wins International Mercury Awards
For the third year running Network PR has been recognised in the international Mercury Excellence Awards, 2002, continuing their record as New Zealand’s most awarded Public Relations consultancy.
Judges scrutinised over 1200 entries from 13 countries and in New York last week awarded Network PR with a Silver award for the Pfizer Animal Health Group’s awareness raising “Pet Arthritis Month”, and a Bronze for the Certified Organics media programme. Jane Dodd, Network PR General Manager says “Being recognised on the international stage is a great achievement and illustrates the fresh thinking and innovative communication that underpins our work. It’s a great accolade both for the teams involved as well as for our clients.”
“Network congratulates Pfizer Animal Health Group and Certified Organics as these awards are also a reflection of the standards of excellence of these organisations,” she says.
The annual Mercury Awards are a premier competition for public relations professionals, honouring the world’s best for excellence in corporate communications, media relations, public affairs, and publicity.
Mercomm International President, Reni Witt says “By achieving winning status in the 16th annual International Mercury Awards, Network PR has attained a world class achievement.”
Mercomm Incorporated co-ordinates the annual
awards, while the International Academy of Communications
Arts and Sciences (IACAS) judges the
awards.
