Bid Online For Home Loan Interest Rate From 5.95%

Bid Online For Home Loan Interest Rate From 5.95% P.A.

New Zealanders have another reason to look at refinancing to BankDirect – from this Saturday they will be able to bid for a one year interest rate with bids starting from 5.95% per annum (fixed for one year), an extremely low rate.

“For anyone looking for a better deal on their home loan interest rates there’s every reason to have a go,” says Head of BankDirect, Kevin Leith.

BankDirect is the only New Zealand bank to offer the opportunity to bid for a home loan interest rate and have done so in the past with high success.

“Our customers prefer convenience. They are sophisticated and technology savvy and know a good deal when they see one, which is why BankDirect strives to continually offer new innovations such as this one.”

Once the tender period is over, successful bidders will be contacted to congratulate them on their successful bid. Those bidders who aren't successful may still consider switching to BankDirect with their consistently low interest rates.

“We are committed to passing on interest savings to our customers whenever possible and this tender programme is one way we can do that.”

The online tender period opens Saturday 1 March and closes 4pm Monday 10 March 2003. BankDirect has put $3 million up for tender.

Customers can find out more online at www.bankdirect.co.nz or may contact a BankDirect home loan specialist by phoning 0800 500 400.
