Planned Maui Outage Notification
Planned Maui Outage Notification
The Maui Joint Venture today announced that the Maui A platform will be shut down for regular maintenance for approximately 9 hours from 0700hrs on March 22. This will result in the cessation of gas production from the field over this period.
This work is unrelated to the recent generator problems on the Maui A platform and is part of the planned maintenance work that is carried out on the Maui facilities.
The Joint Venture does not expect the Crown's gas customers to be impacted by this planned outage as there will be sufficient gas available from linepack to meet demand.
Nevertheless the
Crown has been informed of the outage in order that it may
keep its customers fully
informed.
