Visit By Danish Environmentalist Bjorn Lomborg

Professor Bjorn Lomborg, author of The Skeptical Environmentalist, is to visit New Zealand as a guest of both the Resource Management Law Association and the New Zealand Business Roundtable.

Professor Lomborg is the Executive Director of the Danish Institute for Environmental Assessment, a lead environmental agency in that country. He also holds an academic position at the University of Aarhus.

The Skeptical Environmentalist, published in 2001, has attracted international attention and controversy for its criticism of what it calls the 'litany' of environmental doom.

Professor Lomborg will deliver the Business Roundtable's 2003 Sir Ronald Trotter Lecture in Wellington on 8 October 2003.

He will be a keynote speaker at the Resource Management Law Association's annual conference in Blenheim on 10 October 2003.
