Franchisee Buyout of Kitchen Studio Announced
New Zealand’s leading kitchen specialists, the Kitchen Studio, has new owners.
A majority of franchise owners have purchased the business, which has been established in New Zealand for over 20 years.
“For some time franchisees have been discussing an opportunity to acquire the business to further develop the brand and we’re pleased to announce that negotiations have been successfully completed and that the ownership structure has officially changed,” said General Manager, Alan Dalton today.
Employing over 100 staff in 14 locations throughout the country, the company has a turnover in excess of $16 million per annum and is New Zealand’s largest kitchen specialist.
“And we’re looking to expand our interests in New Zealand,” said Mr Dalton.
“We’re planning in the next few months to make positive announcements about a number of new stores opening around the country,” he said.
The Kitchen Studio will maintain
its current management structure but a new Board will be put
in place under an independent chairman.
