NEW LEADER FOR PUBLICIS DRUM
Former 'Drummer' Steve Kane returns to the agency after four years in the UK to take up the helm as General Manager of Publicis Drum - the PR and Events division of Publicis Mojo.
Steve left Drum in 1999 for the UK, where he worked in a variety of senior PR roles including management of the consumer technology team for Hill & Knowlton London, as Associate Partner for Financial Dynamics and senior account director for August.One Communications.
During his first tenure at Drum - from 1997 to '99 - Steve worked as account director on a range of accounts including Apple Computers, Bendon, Levi Strauss and CLEAR - and played a key role in the launch of BankDirect.
Steve takes over from Jody Gill who leaves Drum later this month to pursue a freelance career in media and PR.
