Skills are what we need
Skills are what we need
"The Government's focus on skills training in this year's riding instructions to the tertiary education sector is just what is needed," says Simon Carlaw, Chief Executive of Business NZ
"Business is clear that there is an urgent need to focus on skill development in today's workforce, if we are to achieve higher sustainable economic growth.
"The focus identified in this years' Statement of Tertiary Education Priorities will support our joint campaign with the Government and the CTU to skill new zealand.
"It is critical that the whole tertiary education sector, including university and polytech business schools, take heed of these priorities and focus on the real skill needs of New Zealand business and industry."
