Surveys Indicate Boating New Zealand In Full Sail
Survey figures released from the Audit Bureau of Circulations (ABC) and Nielsen Media indicate Boating New Zealand is on course to continue its domination in the market.
ABC results for January to June show Boating New Zealand has a circulation of 16,585, which is up 2.9% year-on-year, while the Nielsen Media readership numbers for July 2002 – June 2003 are an outstanding 22.9% increase year-on-year to 193,000.
For Fairfax Magazines General Manager Sarah Sandley, this represents a fantastic result.
“We are building on this even further with a new evolution of the magazine in the September issue, which goes on sale soon,” Ms Sandley said.
“A change in size will secure the magazine improved shelf profile, while the new design and masthead reflects an evolving publication that is in touch with its readers.
“Advertising support has been excellent.
“Boating New Zealand has a solid team who are providing the right mix for the boating fraternity. The brokerage section is still proving to be a vote winner as well.
“There is a clear editorial direction which is the backbone of Boating New Zealand’s success and we are confident this magazine will continue being an outstanding performer and maintain still more circulation growth,” Ms Sandley said.
