We priced the goods of the 2003 traditional bonus hamper:

If you bought the same goods yourself, it would be over $100 cheaper (26% less!!)

Research Found:
Crisco Price $ 486
Woolworth Price* $ 385

* Prices as of 6/12/03. Does not include interest you would have earned if you saved the money in the bank. Of the 107 items, 9 were not available and nearest equivalent was used (ie different brand). If discounts available on the day were disregarded in comparison then cost is $392.02, still $93.98 cheaper than the Crisco price.
