Appointment of new CEO for New
Zealand
Macquarie Goodman Management Limited (“MGM”)
is pleased to announce the appointment of John Dakin as
Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Goodman Property
Management New Zealand Limited (“MGMNZ”).
MGMNZ, a wholly owned subsidiary of MGM, is the manager of MGP (formerly Colonial First State Property Trust).
Greg Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of MGM, said “We are delighted to welcome John to the Macquarie Goodman team. The continuity of management and retention of knowledge will benefit MGP’s Unitholders and customers enormously.”
John Dakin was previously General Manager of Colonial First State Property (NZ) Limited, the former manager of MGP. Prior to that John was with Property Council of New Zealand for seven years including three years as National Director. He also held prior senior property roles in Australia, the UK and New Zealand.
Mr Goodman concluded, “John’s appointment to head up our operations in New Zealand reflects our high level of commitment to the New Zealand market.”
In December 2003, MGM announced its cornerstone unitholding in MGP and acquisition of the management company of MGP.
