Communication by Design joins Brodeur network

Auckland 20 January 2004 - Auckland-based public relations firm Communication by Design has joined the Brodeur Worldwide network of public relations, communications and marketing agencies.

Communication by Design (CBD) specialises in providing PR strategy, advice and services for knowledge-based clients – focusing in the information technology, pharmaceutical and food industries.

CBD clients include pharmaceutical companies GlaxoSmithKline and Roche Products, medical technology company Roche Diagnostics, information technology companies Computer Associates, Simpl Group, Maclean Computing, Cognito Software and Touchbox and food company Kiwi Ice Cream.

Brodeur is one of the largest technology-dedicated agencies in the world with more than 70 offices in nearly 50 countries. Brodeur is a part of Omnicom Group, a leading global marketing and corporate communication company.

Communication by Design managing director Tim Marshall said the Brodeur connection would enable CBD to help New Zealand exporters to launch and promote their products and services globally. “We are also looking forward to providing PR services for clients of Brodeur and its affiliates with operations in New Zealand.”

Brodeur Worldwide Asia Pacific managing director Terresa Christenson said the partnership created a platform for sharing best practices and Communication by Design was a great fit given Brodeur’s focus on technology, financial and health technologies. “CBD brings significant strengths in technology and healthcare to the Brodeur Worldwide Asia Pacific network.”
