Minter Ellison Rudd Watts appoints new partner and senior associate
Trans-Tasman law firm, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, has further strengthened its property and competition & regulatory practices with the appointment of a new partner, David Gilbert, and the internal promotion of Anna Rawlings to senior associate.
David’s appointment brings the partnership number to 36. His practice is focused on property development, with an emphasis on property acquisitions, developments and leasing. He also has extensive experience in infrastructure/PPP project work both in the UK and New Zealand. David has acted for both the Crown and concessionaire in the health, transport, military and energy sectors on their PPP projects. He joins Minter Ellison Rudd Watts from another large New Zealand law firm.
Anna Rawlings has been promoted to senior associate in the firm’s market leading competition and regulatory team. She advises clients on both non-contentious and contentious aspects of competition law, industry regulation and consumer protection law. She has been routinely involved in drafting and commenting on commercial agreements and advising in relation to a range of commercial contract law issues. Anna also practices in the firm’s litigation department, appearing regularly in the District and High Courts, and the Court of Appeal.
