Canwest Mediaworks Confirms Key Dates For IPO
CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited today confirmed its offer of 68.0 million ordinary shares to the public would open on 30 June and close on 21 July. The prospectus will be registered today (25 June).
An additional 13.6 million shares may be made available for sale to the public by the CanWest group. The offer is expected to raise between NZ$102.0 million and NZ$134.6 million. Following the offer, CanWest MediaWorksNZ will acquire the CanWest Group's New Zealand media operations.
The offer will comprise a retail offer in New Zealand for general investors, employees and clients of brokers, and an institutional offer in New Zealand, Australia and certain other jurisdictions.
No money is
currently being sought and no applications for CanWest
MediaWorks (NZ) Limited securities will be accepted or money
received unless the subscriber has received an investment
statement for the CanWest MediaWorks (NZ) Limited share
offer.
