Emirates Adds 17th Frequency To Tehran
EMIRATES ADDS 17TH FREQUENCY TO TEHRAN
From September 16 Emirates will start its 17th weekly frequency to neighbouring Iran's capital city, Tehran, on the wings of surging demand for its services from business executives, relatives and friends.
The timing of the new additional frequency is ideal for the business community as it is operated every Thursday, departing Dubai at 6.15pm at the close of the business week, arriving in Tehran at 8.45pm, in time for dinner. The return flight from Tehran departs at 10.15pm to arrive in Dubai at 11.45pm.
Emirates' flights to Tehran are frequently patronised by entrepreneurs and executives, and Iranians have long considered Dubai a favourite tourist and leisure destination, as many have relatives and friends in the city.
The new service will be operated with an Airbus A310 which is capable of carrying 198 passengers in a two-class configuration and 10 tonnes of cargo.
The airline began its services to Tehran in 1990, a testament to the importance of the country on Emirates' route network.
Dnata, part of the Emirates Group, provides handling services at Mehrabad International Airport in Iran, through its associated company Safiran Dnata Airport Services PJSC.
