National signs major Cinema operator for Goddards Centre

The National Property Trust advised they have commenced the redevelopment of the Goddards Centre located in the heart of Tauranga’s central business district and have secured a major cinema operator to be the anchor tenant.

National also released today the new brand identity for the Goddard’s Centre.

The redevelopment of Goddard’s will create a dynamic, modern and central shopping precinct, which will become the retail focal point for the inner city. The new brand identity has been developed to reflect and represent the qualities of the new centre that will be opened later this year.

The Cinemas will be completed to a high standard of comfort and will present an exciting environment in the heart of the city.

With a strong focus on fashion, the new Goddards will feature Tauranga CBD’s first and only foodcourt complimented by the Theatre Complex.

Leasing interest in Goddards has been positive and new retail areas are expected to be quickly taken up.

The National Property Trust Executive Chairman Paul Dallimore said today “Goddard’s will present a unique opportunity for both shoppers and retailers”.

“The new Goddard’s will enhance and compliment Tauranga’s growing reputation for the very best of boutique shopping in a vibrant, progressive environment.”
