Delegat’s Secures Winemaking Capacity in Marlborough

Delegat’s Group Limited, as part of its long term strategy for grape processing in Marlborough, advises that its wholly owned subsidiary Delegat’s Wine Estate Limited has entered into a three year winemaking agreement with The New Zealand Wine Company Limited.

Delegat’s is in the final design stage and is to commence construction of its own winery in 2005 with the first stage completed for the 2006 vintage.

This agreement, along with other winemaking arrangements in Marlborough will ensure sufficient capacity is available to meet Delegat’s processing and winemaking needs until the Marlborough winery project is completed.
