Origin Pacific Launches Summer Schedule

Origin Pacific Launches Summer Schedule

Origin Pacific has announced its summer schedule of flights. Highlights include increased direct flights from Nelson, increased frequency between Christchurch and Wellington, and a new direct Blenheim and Palmerston North service.

The new schedule is now open for bookings and will commence from 1 October.

The schedule utilizes high speed British Aerospace Jetstream aircraft.

Origin Pacific Marketing Director, Mike Pero, says the summer schedule revolves around key heartland routes, which have loyal patronage. The schedule is the result of huge support for the airline from air travelers throughout New Zealand.

“We are buoyed by the loyalty of the New Zealand traveling public,” says Pero. “Many thank us for delivering a competitive air service to their region and providing competition”.

The new summer schedule features direct daily services from Nelson to Wellington, Auckland, Christchurch, Hamilton, Palmerston North and New Plymouth.

Pero says that the Wellington-Christchurch route is aimed mainly at the SME business market, providing full same day services.

“We now have over fifty flights per week each way between Christchurch and Wellington. Our fare structure and flexible terms are well suited to small to medium sized businesses.”

Pero says a number of new products are also in the pipeline to be launched before Christmas.
