ACP Media launches FQ Men
New Zealand’s first fashion magazine for men hits newsstands on September 23.
Launched by ACP Media, FQ Men is an essential guide for the modern urban man, covering everything from wine selection to party hot spots, suit styles to skin care. This magazine showcases New Zealand’s finest fashion labels and features highfliers from businessmen to sporting heroes while offering useful tips and advice on gadgets, grooming solutions and sex.
“In the past few years international cosmetic houses have raced to launch men’s skincare ranges in New Zealand, signalling a phenomenal growth in this market. In 2003, sales of men’s skincare products in New Zealand increased by 14%, up from a 9% increase in 2002*,” said ACP Media CEO Heith Mackay-Cruise. “New Zealand men need a magazine that satisfies their increasing appetite for fashion and grooming solutions. As they move from brill cream and boat shoes to stylish suiting and sophisticated skincare, FQ Men will be their guide.” A companion to ACP Media’s successful Fashion Quarterly, FQ Men will be a bi-annual magazine with spring/summer and autumn/winter editions. It will be edited by Fashion Quarterly’s beauty editor, Trudi Brewer.
“FQ Men’s launch reinforces ACP Media’s position as a publisher of premium magazine titles including North & South, Metro and Gourmet Traveller Wine.”
