Minter Ellison Rudd Watts appoints new CEO
Trans-Tasman law firm, Minter Ellison Rudd Watts, has appointed Russell Hay as its new CEO. Russell has a strong background in the management of accounting, consulting and professional services firms having been a partner at Deloitte’s for 24 years. During his time at Deloitte’s, Russell held a number of senior positions including:
- regional managing director for the outsourcing practice for Asia Pacific Africa, based in Hong Kong
- managing director for the SAP practice in Australia/New Zealand, based in Sydney
- Auckland office managing partner for Deloitte’s the Accounting firm.
Tony Caughey, the former CEO, will stay on in a consulting capacity for a period with the special project of driving the move to the firm’s new premises in the middle of next year. This is something that he has been closely involved with in recent times.
