Sealegs Appoints First International Distributor

Auckland, 21 September 2004: Sealegs International Ltd, the New Zealand based manufacturer of amphibious boats, today announced that it has appointed the first international distributor in Australia.

Sydney based Manis Marine is the new Australian Sealegs distributor and it has a release price on the Sealegs 5.6m amphibious boat with 90hp Yamaha outboard of A$88,000.

Manis Marine Managing Director Warren Wieckmann is very excited at securing the Australian distribution for Sealegs.

“Everywhere we have taken our demonstration Sealegs amphibious boat, it has attracted huge interest,” he says. “We see a large Australian market opportunity in waterfront properties for this unique craft. It is incredibly convenient and versatile.”
