Milk For Every Body

Anchor brings a healthy new meaning to milking it

Are you getting the right milk for your body? Anchor has moo-ved its milks ahead of the times and launched its new range of milk types to suit the specific needs, ages and stages of every New Zealander.

Anchor milk has always been a delicious and healthy family favourite, but now, consumers are able to select precisely the right milk to match their individual health, lifestyle and taste requirements.

This month sees the launch of a completely revamped Anchor milk range, including new packaging, names and improved formulations for some of New Zealand’s favourite milks. For example, “Anchor Blue Top” is replaced by “The Milk”. Although it’s the original blue top milk that generations of Kiwis have grown up with, the name is now synonymous with that much asked question “have you got the milk?”

From Anchor Mega Milk for kids (and the young at heart), to Anchor Xtra for active people and pregnant women, to Anchor Vital for people 35 and over, there’s an Anchor milk for every body – all available in-store this month.

“Milk is not just a drink for growing children, it is a delicious, natural, healthy drink that’s good for every body,” says Richard Manaton, marketing director for New Zealand Dairy Foods. “A vital source of calcium, protein and other nutrients, milk is a staple part of everyone’s diet, so it’s essential that people of differing ages and lifestyles get what they need from it.”

“All Anchor milks can be consumed simply by the glass, added to hot drinks, eaten with cereal or used in any recipe containing milk,” he adds. “By selecting the right milk for your body, you can be sure to get the right kinds of nutritional goodness with every sip or spoonful.”

To help consumers select the right milk, Anchor has developed the “Anchor Milk Spectrum”. This is an easy to use, interactive guide that tells people all they need to know about every milk in the range, so they can choose the best milk for their bodies.

Here is a snapshot of the new Anchor milk range:
