Creative Guru to Show Power of Press

As part of the Newspaper Advertising Bureau’s (NAB) commitment to excellence in print advertising we are hosting a Creative Guru Event in October.

The NAB is bringing Lorenzo De Rita to New Zealand to stir up passion in print advertising through industry creative lunches in Auckland (Wednesday 13th October) and Wellington (Friday 15th October).

Creatives and senior management of agencies have been selected to attend the luncheons, by invitation only. Lorenzo de Rita is the Creative Director at Fuel Europe in Amsterdam (EuroRSCG group), responsible for the creation of Pan-European and global campaigns for Volvo Cars. Lorenzo has won several awards on national and international stages. Among the most prestigious: 8 Lions at the Cannes Advertising Festival, 2 One Show Pencils, 1 Gold Epica, 4 Pencils at the Art Directors Club Italy, 1 D&AD Pencil, 3 Arrows at the

British Television Awards, 1 Gold Medal at the New York Film Festival. Press is a powerful medium for showcasing creativity and the Creative Guru Event will assist in stimulating quality creative thinking for newspaper advertising. Whilst in town, Lorenzo will address advertising students as part of the NAB’s dedication to foster emerging talent. The Newspaper Advertising Bureau represents 25 daily newspapers; four metropolitan newspapers; 19 regional dailies; and two non dailies.
