New lease renewals in University of Otago House

Capital Properties announces new lease and lease renewals in University of Otago House.

Capital Properties New Zealand Limited announced today that it had agreed a new six year lease on 907 square metres, being all of level 7, University of Otago House, Auckland. The tenant is Spark Limited a media and advertising company.

Capital Properties also confirmed two lease renewals in the same building. University of Otago Auckland Centre renewed their lease for a further term of 3 years from 1 October 2005 on levels 3 & 4 and Symantec New Zealand exercised their renewal for a further term of 5 years from 1 May 2004 on levels 5 & 6.

Together these leasings amount to 4,829 square metres and leave the building and all 167 car parks 100% occupied.

The University of Otago Building at 385 Queen Street, Auckland was built circa 1987 and comprises a 9 level office building with 3 levels of basement car parking.
