Holmes' Newstalk ZB Show Continues
Media release 2 November 2004
HOLMES' NEWSTALK ZB SHOW CONTINUES
The Radio Network said today that, while broadcaster Paul Holmes was moving television channels, the radio host remained fully committed to his breakfast show slot on NewstalkZB.
"His move doesn't affect his relationship with us at all," said TRN talk programming general manager Bill Francis, commenting on today's expected announcement by Prime Television.
"Paul has been carrying out dual television and radio commitments for a number of years now and this change does not alter anything from our side of things.
"His breakfast show will continue as before, and his contract has a few years to run."
Bill Francis said TRN knew Paul Holmes had not taken his television decision lightly and saw it as a chance to further develop.
