Chris Morris Takes Up CEO Role For Velocity Global

To Drive Local And International Growth

NEW ZEALAND – January 17, 2005 – Velocity Global, a total information and communication business solutions provider, has appointed Chris Morris as its chief executive officer.

As chief executive officer, Chris is responsible for strategically guiding Velocity Global to grow its leadership position in providing total technology related solutions to its local and international customers. The customers are from a diverse range of industries.

Chris is also responsible for overseeing the overall finances of the company, staff administration, marketing activities and product development.

Joining Velocity Global in 1993, Chris was formerly its general manager.

Prior to Velocity Global, Chris held a sales and marketing role with Praxa, a Local Government information systems and ERP systems integrator. He has also held sales and marketing roles with Centron, an IBM Business Partner and Trilogy (now known as Infinity Solutions).

Chris has an extensive background in telecommunications and engineering. He holds a post graduate qualification in Business Management and Administration from the University of Auckland, a New Zealand Certificate of Engineering (Telecommunications) and New Zealand Institute of Management diploma.

Velocity Global was established in 1988 and has a team of twenty people throughout New Zealand. Velocity Global started as a developer of AS/400 ERP solutions. The customers who use its applications and support services include Zuellig Pharma, Mitre10, Bic NZ and Roche Diagnostics. Velocity Global is the global support centre for the ERP customers of its US based parent company, Velocity Group Inc. Velocity Global is also the New Zealand agent for Pronto Software, a mid range ERP solution with over forty local customers, including JA Russell, Monaco Corporation and Caspex Corporation.
