Go For It - ASEAN New Zealand and Australia Trade Agreement

Make it comprehensive. This is the call from the Trade Liberalisation Network as negotiations begin on an ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand trade agreement.

"There will be all sorts of temptations to leave out sectors and products or alternately achieve a similar affect by including unjustifiably long lead times," said Trade Liberalisation Network Executive Director, Suse Reynolds.

"These must be resisted if the trade agreement is to deliver genuine benefits within meaningful time frames."
