Colgate Confirms Strike Action By EPMU
MEDIA RELEASE
4 APRIL 2005
A spokesperson from Colgate confirmed strike action has been taken by the EPMU as part of the union's renegotiation of its existing collective agreement.
"It is disappointing that the union decided strike action was necessary when Colgate has offered a 5% wage increase for a term of 15 months.”
“As we are still in negotiations with the union, it is inappropriate for us to provide further comment," the company spokesperson added.
