Vector appoints new General Manager Strategic
Development
Vector has appointed Andrew Knight to the newly created position of General Manager Strategic Development.
Andrew joins Vector from NGC where he has been working as General Manager Corporate Development. Prior to that, Andrew has held several other roles with NGC including General Manager Energy Sales. Andrew has also worked for the Australian Gas Light Company (AGL), Fletcher Challenge Energy and Coopers and Lybrand. Andrew is a chartered accountant and a graduate from the University of Waikato with a BMS (Hons).
Andrew’s new role at Vector will involve the facilitation of the company’s strategic ambitions through the agreement and delivery of the company’s strategic plan. This will include driving new initiatives through the business and the coordination of business planning and business performance measurement processes.
Andrew will begin his new role on 26 April 2005, following further development of the pan-industry Maui Open Access negotiations.
