"Orange or Pink?" asks Mathieson

The decision to go for pink or orange paint was just one of the mind-boggling tasks facing Wellington fashion designer Robyn Mathieson during the planning stage for her new Wellington store which opens today.

The new Mathieson.Store is located at Shop 8, Willis Street Village in the midst of Wellington's popular fashion shopping precinct and signals the launch of a new brand for the fashion designer.

Ms Mathieson says the decision to open the new store is one of the steps towards her overall plan for global expansion.

Mathieson.Store is the latest acquisition to the Robyn Mathieson stable, and is her second new store in recent months.

With a staff of fifteen in design, production and retail, a second Wellington store takes Robyn Mathieson to a new level in the Wellington and New Zealand fashion industry.

The Robyn Mathieson concept stores were introduced late in 2004.

Robyn Mathieson is available only in Wellington and Auckland.
