PLC New Zealand Limited Appoints New General Manager
PLC New Zealand Limited announced today the appointment of Brian Tomlinson as General Manager. Mr Tomlinson replaces Brian Maley who retires after nine-years at the helm of the leading private label food manufacturer.
Brian Tomlinson highlighted the enormous contribution Mr Maley has made to the growth and success of PLC. "During Brian's tenure at PLC, he has recruited and developed a very experienced management team, who together have been responsible for upgrading the PLC plant at New Lynn.
“The plant now boasts state of the art facilities. The company has built excellent relationships with its customers and contract clients, and is proud of the portfolio of brands that it manufactures on their behalf. I look forward to building on Brian's success, and am very excited about the future at PLC," Mr Tomlinson said.
Mr Maley plans to combine retirement with consulting on a part-time basis, utilising his extensive manufacturing management experience.
Brian Tomlinson joins PLC from parent company, Hansells where he has held the position of National Sales Manager since 2001. He has a strong background in sales and marketing in the FMCG sector, having previously held senior roles with SC Johnson and South African Breweries.
