STAGECOACH AND THE COMBINED UNIONS RESUMED MEDIATION ON 9 AND 10 MAY 2005.
A PROPOSAL FOR SETTLEMENT HAS BEEN TABLED BY THE MEDIATOR AND THE PARTIES HAVE AGREED THAT THIS PROPOSAL WILL BE PUT TO THE MEMBERS AT A STOP WORK MEETING TO BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY 11 MAY 2005.
THE PROPOSAL WILL REMAIN CONFIDENTIAL UNTIL RELEASED BY THE MEDIATOR AT THE MEETING.
THE PARTIES HAVE AUTHORISED MEDIATION SERVICES TO RELEASE THIS STATEMENT ON THEIR BEHALF, AND WISH TO JOINTLY THANK THE MEDIATORS FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE THEY HAVE PROVIDED.
