Rural settlements completed

The National Bank is pleased that it has once again completed all rural farm settlements without major delays or problems for customers.

The Bank’s General Manager for Rural Banking, Charlie Graham, says that the end of May is traditionally a very busy time, with large numbers of rural business transactions being processed as farm settlements occur.

“We were well prepared to cope with the increased demand for our services,’’ said Mr Graham. “The staff at our processing centres and our rural branches in particular, work extremely hard over this period to ensure that our customers do not experience delays in processing their transactions.”

The National Bank is the largest rural bank in New Zealand.
