Cosmetic Industry Media Excellence Awards

The Cosmetic Toiletry and Fragrance Association (CTFA) announced the winners of the CTFA and Jasmine awards for excellence this morning at the Auckland Wintergarden Pavillion.

The Awards given annually are for excellence in both literary and visual display articles about either Cosmetics or Fragrances across all forms of published media.

This years competition from more than 70 entries was of such high quality that several highly commended runners up were given special mention during the awards ceremony.

The winners were:

CTFA Award for Literary Excellence Jane Trudi Brewer for Skin-Ovation FQ Spring 04

CTFA Award for Visual Excellence The Rich List, Simply You Winter 05

Jasmine Award for Literary Excellence Fiona Hawtin for Perfume, New Zealand Herald Viva November 04

Jasmine Award for Visual Excellence Sex in a Bottle, FQ Men Spring/Summer 04
Highly Commended were:

Jude Hathaway for Perfume Upstarts and Legends

Silver Lining, FQ

Candy Coated Simply You Winter 05

All award winners are posted to the CTFA web site www.ctfa.org.nz

“The CTFA congratulates the winners on articles that rank as world class and continue to make judging these awards extremely difficult from such competition” said Garth Wyllie Executive Director of the CTFA.
