MÂ TÂTOU – FOR EVERYONE
Scallops, Mussel Fritters, Fried Bread and Crayfish…This week, Our Iwi Grassroots Series MÂ TÂTOU is set with an awesome Kai special (Sunday 28 August, 6.30pm on MTS).
Hosted by Te Hâmua Nikora (Ngâti Porou, Ngâti Konohi, Te Whakatohea), this week’s programme takes us into the kitchen to cook a special dish with Pete Peeti.
MÂ TÂTOU also includes highlights from the Whitianga Scallop Festival 2005. Te Hâmua learns to open a scallop, Maha Tonu enters the Celebrity Cookoff and Festival goers tell us ‘Which Party Leader they think suits which Kaimoana’ in our Kowhiri (Elections) segment.
