FCm Travel Solutions Gains Experienced Japanese Partner

One of Japan’s oldest and most respected travel companies has joined the growing global network being built by FCm Travel Solutions, the first Asia-Pacific based global corporate travel and expense management specialist.

FCm Travel Solutions is the corporate flagship of worldwide travel company, Flight Centre Limited.

FCm Travel Solutions' global executive general manager, Anthony Grigson said the agreement enabled Kinki Nippon Tourist Co. to offer business travel solutions in over 50 countries, while FCm Travel Solutions' clients would benefit from the new partner's 50 years experience in the Japanese market.

Mr Grigson said Kinki Nippon Tourist Co., which has offices in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, was a respected name in Japanese travel and would provide strong on-the-ground service and support for clients through its team of local travel specialists.

“It’s important to have global reach, but it’s also important to have that local knowledge and local presence,” Mr Grigson said.

“This is especially the case in a key business travel destination like Japan. It’s a vital link in our Asia-Pacific regional network and to have a well established organisation like Kinki Nippon Tourist Co. as a network partner gives us a strong competitive advantage,” Mr Grigson said.

Kinki Nippon Tourist Co’s Business Travel Management (BTM) offices will now officially become FCm Travel Solutions, which has declared its intentions of competing head-to-head with the likes of American Express and Business Travel International.

The addition of Japan to the group’s global network follows other recent partnership signings, including Ireland, Thailand and the Philippines. FCm Travel Solutions’ services and solutions include advanced management reporting and analysis, independent travel advice, finger tip travel information, frequent flyer management, a global hotel program, and total travel fulfilment (visas, passports, insurance, airport transfers etc).
