MMF Awards 2005 - Winners

The Music Managers' Forum (MMF) is pleased to announce the winners in the 2nd Annual Music Management Awards, held yesterday (Sun 2 Oct) in Auckland.

A large panel of music industry experts were asked to vote this year, whitling down the list of over 70 MMF members nationwide to decide on this years finalists and eventual winnners

The MMF also presented two honourary awards – Industry Champion and Outstanding Achievment in Music Management – which were decided by the MMF executive committee.

MMF MUSIC MANAGEMENT AWARDS 2005 – WINNERS & FINALISTS

BEST MANAGER (UNSIGNED ARTIST)
Winner: Rebecca Caughey (Ladi6)
Other finalists: Phil Moore (The Checks), Stephen O'Hoy (One Million Dollars), Carla Potter (Gasoline Cowboy, Foamy Ed)

BEST MANAGER (SIGNED ARTIST)
Winner: Brent Eccles (Tim Finn)
Other finalists: Micheal Keating (Goldenhorse, Duchess), Paul Marshall (Autozamm, Tadpole), Teresa Patterson (Scribe, Blindspott, Carly Binding, Elemeno P, The Have)

BEST SELF-MANAGED ARTIST
Winner: Matiu Sadd (The WBC)
Other finalists: Derek Browne (dDub), Paul Dodge (Minuit), Polly Prior, Caitlin Smith

OUTSTANDING ACHIEVMENT IN MUSIC MANAGEMENT
