Tourism Initiative Reports Draw Overwhelming Response from
Australia And New Zealand
Garuda Indonesia has been
extremely heartened by the overwhelming response from
Australians and New Zealanders to news of the airline’s
offer of a large number of air tickets to assist in the
restoration of Bali tourism.
“The flood of inquiries is a clear indication that many Australians and New Zealanders are continuing to support Bali. However, until we have received clear guidelines from those working on the Bali recovery programme in Indonesia, we are unable to provide specific details on eligibility or implementation of the offer,” said Mr. Suranto Yitnopawiro, Regional Manager Southwest Pacific.
“Our first priority is to look after the needs of our existing passengers and to ensure that they will not be disadvantaged by continuing with their travel arrangements.”
Garuda Indonesia will announce full details on the offer and its implementation as soon as these have been finalised.
