Kiwi singer Emily Williams is Centrebet's hot favourite to be crowned Australian Idol next week.
Centrebet says that Emily (1.36) is odds on to beat Kate DeAraugo (3.00) in the Idol showdown.
Originally from Auckland, Emily has been Centrebet's Idol frontrunner for the past five weeks.
"Australian rugby officials may not support New Zealand's 2011 Rugby World Cup bid but the Aussie public will vote for Emily to win our Idol competition," says Centrebet's Gerard Daffy.
Centrebet punters are betting as if Japan is certain to win this week's 2011 RWC Host ballot.
Japan is 1.40 with Centrebet, with South Africa (3.00) and New Zealand (13.00) well behind.
