World Summit for Young Entrepreneurs

With only 20 places available for the South Pacific, Proximus Ltd. is looking for the best young entrepreneurs to take to the 10th World Summit for Young Entrepreneurs in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Proximus Ltd., a project management firm based in Wellington, New Zealand, was recently chosen to select and manage the South Pacific delegation to the 10th World Summit for Young Entrepreneurs (WSYE) which will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, 15-17 March 2006.

The overarching objective of the WSYE X is to stimulate a productive and sustainable entrepreneurial environment around the world. The Summit will provide a forum for leading young entrepreneurs to learn from each other's experiences, extend global networks, and identify new opportunities for international expansion of their businesses.

Approximately 1500 young entrepreneurs and senior executives from around the world will attend the Summit, representing approximately 80 countries.

The Summit will present the participants with the opportunity to:

Network among emerging businesses and governments;Pursue joint ventures, strategic alliances, and explore investment opportunities; Engage global business leaders in shared dialogue; Gain insights and advice from peers; Increase knowledge sharing on the challenges and prospects of business opportunities as it pertains to emerging markets; Learn how to use the latest marketing techniques and strategies; Acquire tools for assessing and designing overall strategies for business growth.

Participation to the WSYE is by invitation only. Invitations comprise of: an exemption from the Summit registration fee of US $1200, four nights of accommodation in Sao Paulo, gala dinners and cultural events, local transportation, extensive educational and networking material.

Proximus Ltd. has been exclusively allocated 20 invitations to distribute to the best young entrepreneurs in the South Pacific. One of the invitees will also be awarded with the 'Best Young Entrepreneur for the South Pacific' at the Summit. Entrepreneurs can apply online at http://www.proximus.co.nz/wsye/register/

All applications must be in by 20 January 2006. Winners will be announced 25 January 2006.
