Tenon Announces New Chief Financial Officer
Auckland, 16 February 2006 – Tenon announced today that Adam White has been appointed Tenon Group Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 April 2006. Mr White is currently Chief Financial Officer of The Empire Company (“Empire”), one of Tenon’s key distribution subsidiaries in the USA.
He has been with the Tenon Group since 1999, employed in a number of senior financial and commercial roles, focussed on the development of the Company’s North American business.
These roles have included the role of Commercial Manager of Tenon’s North American Consumer Solutions activities, which included the Taupo manufacturing operations. Prior to his time with Tenon, Mr White was employed in corporate and private accountancy practice in the UK. Mr White will be based in Tenon’s Head Office in Maryland, USA.
Steve Johandes, Executive Vice President of Empire, will resume oversight of the financial functions at Empire. Mr Johandes has been with Empire for 12 years, and was formerly its Chief Financial Officer.
