Australia and NZ's premier design magazine

16 March 2006

LINO is truly Australia and New Zealand's premier design lifestyle magazine!

LINO's mission - to produce a visually clean, photographically edgy and editorially influential publication is succeeding, not only in Australia and New Zealand, but sales are taking off around the world. Already firmly entrenched in South-east Asia and Japan, sales in the USA are moving strongly in major US cities where it is sold. Now there is strong demand throughout Europe as LINO prepares to meet its biggest demand so far.

And why not! LINO's aim - to meet, mingle, inform and ultimately excite a dual audience of influential design professionals and the discerning design conscious, has clearly made an impact. LINO is not a pretentious or elitist publication targeting only a select few, but a magazine which delivers top level design information about incredible Australian and New Zealand talent, in an accessible manner, and for the rest of the world to take note!

Our association with ICOGRADA Design Media Network, makes LINO one of only a few participants from Australia and New Zealand in a global fraternity of high-end design and media publications. ICOGRADA Design Media Network (IDMN) Participants form an online community dedicated to establishing and promoting standards and ethics in design journalism.

LINO values its partnerships with key New Zealand and Australian Industry players, including Air NZ Fashion Week, and is a Media Partner and Sponsor for The Peugeot Hokonui Fashion Awards, ID Dunedin Fashion Week, WOW, Wanganui School of Design, Australian Design Award-Dyson Student Awards, DesignEX (Australia) and Semi-Permanent, Sydney.

Since December 2004, LINO has been onboard Qantas international First Class Flights. Qantas receives each new issue of LINO and feedback from Qantas tells us that LINO is a preferred choice with passengers. Air New Zealand is now stocking LINO in their Koru Club and International Lounges with future plans to include LINO in their in-flight library. Being linked with the two major Australasian Airlines cements LINO=B9s position as the premier Australian and New Zealand Design Lifestyle Magazine.

So welcome to LINO's Autumn issue for this year, also marking the beginning of our 4th year and introducing you to even more amazing new and young emerging talent in design, art, photography, multimedia, fashion and architecture.

From the Yunnan province in China to the extraordinary fashion in Dunedin, you can meander through the ultra-cool school diner designated by its kids, or marvel at the jewellery designs from New Zealand's Debra Fallowfield and Australia's Charmaine Baltis. We have the pleasure of reproducing some of the great work of Charlie Waite and an abundant

Art section headlined by the fascinating Debbie Hahn. Read about Ash Keating and many other artists' relationship with social perspectives (and conscience) and our fragile ecology. Whatever it is that takes your interest, you'll find it in the pages of LINO.

The new issue also has a new look. Check out a preview at LINO's website http://www.linomagazine.com.au where you can enjoy a glimpse of what this issue is all about.
