Top Tourism Marketer Joining Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools And Spa

The job of marketing one of New Zealand’s premiere tourism destinations is now in the hands of a man who is well equipped to turn up the heat.

Scott Callaway a former Cantabrian with 20 years experience in the tourism industry has just been appointed Marketing Manager at Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa (replacing Neridah Ramsay).

Scott’s experience in senior marketing roles with iconic kiwi tourism brands including The Mount Cook Group, Air New Zealand, and AJ Hackett Bungy will serve him well in his new role.

General Manager Graeme Abbot says Scott will be a huge asset to the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa team.

“Scott’s proven himself as a very successful tourism marketer, he will bring a fresh set of eyes and ideas to our business. One of the major challenges facing him will be marketing our new Spa being built in July,” says Graeme Abbot.

“Marketing Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa is an incredible opportunity. Hanmer Springs is a wonderful place and the pools are a fantastic facility – I am looking forward to attracting even more visitors to the town and showing off one of New Zealand’s best visitor attractions,” says Scott Callaway.

“This is also a great time to be joining Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools and Spa, with the new Spa development, entranceway and information centre set for construction the future looks bright and challenging and I’m looking forward to it,” he concluded.
