Join Us For Australia's Longest Lunch In NZ
Crocodile meat, barramundi fillets and seared kangaroo loins are all part of the menu being unveiled for the Australian Longest Lunch in New Zealand.
Below is the official menu for the Australian Longest Lunch in New Zealand and Tourism Australia would like to invite you to join them for some bloody great Australian food and wine on Friday 28 April.
The lunch, which will be set on a large table for over 500 guests in the Auckland Viaduct, promises to be an exciting showcase of gourmet food, wine, beer and lifestyle.
MC, Tony Veitch, and several guest chefs will take diners on a culinary journey through the best tastes Australia has to offer, while the award winning aboriginal dance troupe 'Descendance' entertain guests with a dramatic display of Australian tribal dance.

A selection of bread and dips infused with indigenous flavours of Australia including an alpine peppered Mascarpone cheese dip and sundried bush tomato spread

BBQ Vegetable Platter (Cold) Grilled Zucchini with Aniseed Myrtle; Yandilla mustard; glazed eggplant; NSW Green Beans; field mushrooms with Alpine pepper; chargrilled red pepper and roasted garlic.
Oz lemon infused Tabouleh salad.
BBQ Hot Platters Wallendbeen mustard; barramundi filets with spiced salsa. Lemon myrtle & garlic prawns.
Chargrilled crocodile with a bush tomato and onion confit. Oz lemon & pork infused sausages
