Massey campus to get Student Job Search service
Massey University campus will be the new home of Student Job Search as it relocates its regional offices.
Regional manager Barry Dowell commented “the move means we will be providing a much improved service delivery, running 5 days per week, and will make it easier for Massey students to find work.”
The new site is the former Student Counselling building, on Colombo Road. SJS has been operating as a smaller branch from this site with limited hours since early march. “The organisation will move again later in the year into the new MUSA building when the building refit is completed said Mr Dowell.”
Service delivery will be expanded considerably from the 3 hours per day to a full service of 9am to 4.30 pm for students Monday to Friday. Massey students will find this a welcome change for the current situation said Mr Dowell.
UCOL students also get a branch service operating two days a week from AS@U house, the Student association building on Queens Street.
Student Job Search is a non profit organisation funded by government via Study Link.
