Triathlon
Triathlon New Zealand is pleased to announce Suzuki New Zealand as their official ‘Automotive’ partner.
Suzuki has come on board at an exciting time for Triathlon in New Zealand. With the sport growing at a phenomenal rate and Triathlon NZ Inc keen to establish many new initiatives for the 2006 and 2007 season the future is looking bright. One of the core initiatives is the World Cup in New Plymouth and Suzuki will be a key supporter at that event.
The sport’s head office in Remuera, Auckland just received four fantastic Suzuki Grand Vitaras.
“I’ve driven quite a different brands of SUV’s over the past few years, and the Suzuki beats the others hands down – both in terms of handling and features – and with the added bonus that they look fantastic” said Dave Beeche, CEO of Triathlon NZ.
Suzuki and Triathlon NZ will be touring the country over the coming months to meet not only key stakeholders and athletes, but also to build on the momentum which has so far seen the New Zealand sport blossom and see our athletes constantly perform on the world stage.
Suzuki also sponsors Kris Gemmell, one of the country’s leading triathletes, Kris finished 5th at the recent Commonwealth Games and is currently competing in Germany.
