NZTE appoints Regional Manager

New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) has appointed Evan Morch to the role of Regional Manager.
His role is to promote and facilitate export activities and regional initiatives on the West Coast of the North Island.
Mr Morch brings 40 years of commercial and international experience working in the beverage, dairy, manufacturing, energy and defence industries.
He has held a number of roles specialising in research and development and ran his own company, Lindin Business Consultancy, for 10 years before joining one of NZTE’s predecessor organisations, Industry New Zealand as a sector specialist in 2001.
Mr Morch has spent the last three years at NZTE as Sector Manager – Specialised Manufacturing, based in Wellington. In his new role he will oversee NZTE activities in Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Horowhenua and Kapiti.
“My priorities will be to drive productivity improvements, build governance and management skills and promote links with international markets using the services of NZTE’s international network of offices,” Mr Morch said.
Mr Morch holds a Bachelor of Food Technology and a Master of Business Administration from Massey University.
