The NZ Knights today confirmed a commercial partnership with Choice Hotels Australasia and in doing so has met the club’s accommodation needs for the entire Hyundai A-League season.
Knights Commercial Manager Alan Yates concluded the deal with Choice Hotels Sales and Marketing Senior Director Aileen Cobern. Yates is delighted with the new partnership.
“This is an important relationship for the Knights and we are thrilled to have attracted the interest of such a significant player in the accommodation industry in Australasia. The support of Choice Hotels is a great show of support for the Knights but also a great endorsement for the Hyundai A-League.”
The six figure sponsorship with the NZ Knights includes the team being hosted by Choice Hotels at all away matches during the season and indeed will see the Knights make use of Choice Hotels when traveling in New Zealand.
In return Choice Hotels will feature on the players traveling polo shirts and tracksuits while also receiving commercial exposure on match days and via the club website.
Choice Hotels Australasia Managing Director David Bayes said the company was extremely excited about the New Zealand Knights FC sponsorship deal.
"Choice is has a very strong presence in Australia and New Zealand and this is a fantastic opportunity for us to jump onboard and support one of the fastest growing leagues in the region," Mr Bayes said.
"We have hotels near all the A-League stadiums and will provide the Knights with comfortable, convenient accommodation at Choice properties during all their Australian and New Zealand games.
"The A-League spans the Tasman, as does CHA, so we are sure to make a strong team and look forward to kicking some big goals together at a time when the World Cup has millions of people tuned into this great code."
