Viking Capital offer extended til 23 June
Media Announcement
Viking Capital Limited
Viking Capital Limited today announced that it was extending the closing date for its public offer of shares from Wednesday 21 June 2006 to Friday 23 June 2006.
As a consequence, the expected issue and allotment date is being extended to Monday 26 June 2006, and the expected quotation and trading date on NZAX is being extended to Tuesday 27 June 2006.
Viking announced that the extension was to ensure the delays in distribution of prospectuses occasioned by Queens Birthday and the power crisis did not impact adversely on the offer period.
Copies of the registered prospectus for the offer continue to be available from share brokers or Viking’s NZAX information portal on the NZAX website at www.nzx.com/market/security_details/by_security?code=VIK&status=prelist.
An application has been made to NZX for permission to list the shares and warrants on the NZAX, and all requirements of NZX relating thereto that can be complied with on or before the date of the prospectus have been complied with.
However, NZX does not accept responsibility for any statement in the prospectus.
