Radioworks to Be Charged With Breach of Suppression Order
RadioWorks has today been charged with breach of a suppression order; a charge has also been laid against Radio Live’s Mitch Harris.
The prosecution relates to suppression orders made in the Rickards/Schollum/Shipton case, and arises from comments made by Mitch Harris on Radio Live on 26 May 2006.
RadioWorks accepts responsibility for the comments made and will be pleading guilty to the charge.
Mr Harris will be pleading not guilty on advice that RadioWorks is the appropriate defendant.
The maximum fine for breaching a suppression order is $1,000.
