NZB South Island Sale Catalogues Out Now
Catalogues for the New Zealand Bloodstock South Island Sale of 2YOs & Mixed Bloodstock are now available.
The Sale is scheduled for Friday 11 August at the Canterbury Agricultural Park in Christchurch. This year's catalogue of 224 horses will feature 190 recently turned two-year-olds as well as yearlings (14), untried horses (2), racehorses (7) and broodmares (11). A range of local and international sires are represented by two-year-olds, with over 80 individual sires in total.
In a change to the format, this year will see all two-year-olds presented in a single session, rather than being split into Select and General Sessions as in previous years.
The South Island Sale is renowned as a source of quality, value-for-money, untried horses, with notable graduates including Hustler, Super Kid, Second Coming, Six Aces, Chestpeak, Happy Gilmour, Heureka, Rosa Marada and Silky Red Boxer.
